This event is an initiative of Volunteer in Dubbo Region, a not-for-profit program created to:

• Increase awareness and knowledge of volunteering and its benefits.
• Launch a comprehensive, sustainable community directory.
• Connect social and community group volunteers and staff.
• Build experiences that connect communities of interest with each other, e.g.
• multicultural volunteers with mainstream groups.
• Build programs that build knowledge of the sector and volunteering, e.g. bridging
• programs for new Australians and Youth.
